Stalking and harassment investigations in Nashville
When someone is following you, showing up, or harassing you from anonymous accounts, the hardest part is often proving it. We help identify who is responsible and document it in a way police, prosecutors and judges can use.

Stalking and harassment wear people down because they are often a pattern of small things: the same car in the rearview mirror, messages from new accounts, someone who always seems to know where you are. Each incident alone may not be enough for police to act. Together, documented properly, they often are.
Our role is to gather evidence that supports the protective steps you are taking: police reports, criminal charges or an order of protection. We work with your safety as the first priority, and we never confront the person on your behalf.
Situations we help with
- A person repeatedly appearing at your home, work or places you go
- Harassing calls, messages or posts from anonymous or changing accounts
- Someone who seems to know your location or plans when they shouldn’t
- Unwanted gifts, notes or contact after you have asked it to stop
- A former partner who is not respecting boundaries or an existing order
- Online impersonation or posts meant to damage your reputation
If you are in danger right now, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233. This site has an Exit button at the top of every page, and pressing Esc twice also leaves immediately.

- Identification findings, with the reasoning behind them
- Time-stamped video and a written report of observed incidents
- A detective who can testify about what was observed
Tennessee law that matters here
Tennessee criminalizes stalking (Tenn. Code Ann. § 39-17-315), which covers a pattern of conduct that would cause a reasonable person to feel terrorized, frightened or harassed, and harassment by phone, text or other communications (§ 39-17-308).
Victims of stalking, domestic abuse and sexual assault can petition for an order of protection under Tenn. Code Ann. § 36-3-601 and the sections that follow. Documented incidents make a petition stronger.
If someone placed a GPS tracker on your vehicle without the consent of every owner, that is a crime in Tennessee (§ 39-13-606). If we find one, we document it and leave it in place for police unless your safety requires otherwise.

Questions about this service
Stalking and harassment questions
Can you find out who is behind an anonymous account?
Often, yes, through lawful open-source research: writing patterns, linked accounts, timing, photos and other clues. Where a platform must disclose account information, that requires a subpoena or court order, which your attorney or police can pursue with the evidence we provide.
Can you check my car for a tracker?
Yes. We physically inspect the vehicle for hidden GPS tracking devices. For suspected spyware on your phone, we will refer you to qualified digital forensics help.
Should I go to the police first?
If you feel unsafe, yes, always. Many clients come to us after a police report because they need more evidence for police to act or for a protective order. We can work alongside an existing report.
Will you confront the person?
No. Confrontation can escalate danger. Our job is to document and identify; enforcement belongs to police and the courts.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is kept confidential, and we agree with you on how to communicate safely.
